David Ayastuy is founder and managing partner of Unicorn Strategic Partners and Unicorn Strategic Capital. Launched in 2017, Unicorn Strategic Partners is a leading third party fund distribution firm with over $4 billion in assets under distribution from Latin American and US offshore investors. In 2023, David, together with Andres, Mikha and Jorge launched Unicorn Strategic Capital to provide alternative investment managers with top-tier distribution and marketing capabilities in Latin America, US Offshore and US Hispanic Markets.
He began his professional career at Barclays Bank and Deutsche Bank.
David has a degree in Business Administration and an executive PDD from IESE.

Blancovitch
Based in Miami and San Juan, Mikhail is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Unicorn Strategic Capital. He leads the firm’s product and growth strategy with a focus on originating, structuring and managing the relationships and mandates with General Partners. He also manages key limited partner relationships across the Americas, Europe and Middle East.
Mikhail was most recently executive vice president at 10X Capital, a leading venture capital firm. Previously, he spent 8 years at Champlain Advisors, a global placement agent, where he was involved in management, origination, distribution and structuring of 15+ alternative investment funds and $6 billion of committed assets. He has hands-on experience investing, originating, structuring and raising capital for emerging real estate, private credit, buyout, infrastructure, energy and venture funds.
Mikhail earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University’s School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico.

Casais
Andres Casais, based in Miami, is a co-founder and partner at Unicorn Strategic Capital, spearheading private markets fund distribution activities for US Offshore clients across Miami and New York. He also serves as the deputy CEO for Unicorn Strategic Partners.
Previously, Andres led business development for seven years at Insight Investment in London, cultivating relationships in the EMEA region. His financial career began at the discretionary investment department of EFG Asset Management in Miami.
He earned a master's degree in finance from Hult International Business School in London and holds a Bachelor of Science in Energy, Business and Finance from The Pennsylvania State University. Raised in Venezuela and residing in Miami with his wife, Andres brings a dynamic blend of global experience and strategic acumen to his leadership roles.

Rovira
Based in Colombia, Jorge Rovira is a co-founder and managing partner at Unicorn Strategic Capital, He leads the distribution strategy for the firm, with a focus on sales execution and partnership development across the institutional and private wealth channels.
Before co-founding Unicorn Strategic Capital, Jorge was a partner and Colombia country head at Compass Group, the oldest placement agent in Latin America. In this role, he closed over $4.5 billion for leading private equity and real estate funds, including spearheading the regional presence for a number of the top name in the private equity industry. Having started his career at a leading pension fund in Chile, followed by roles at LarrainVial and Blackrock, Jorge brings a unique multinational relationship network and deep knowledge of how these institutions work. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a master's degree in finance from the London Business School. He lives in Bogota with his fiancée.

Ignacio Arboleya is a Miami-based associate at Unicorn Strategic Capital, where he contributes to product analysis, data management, reporting and daily project management activities. Before joining the team, Ignacio worked as an investment and consolidation analyst at FitzRoy Investment Advisors, a multi-family office firm that provides asset management advisory services to over 25 ultra-high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career, he spent two years at Everis in the banking department in Madrid.
Ignacio holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and he has achieved master's degrees in international business and finance with honors from Hult International Business School in Boston.

Florencia Bunge is a Partner and Head Latam Distribution for Unicorn Strategic Partners. She is responsible for sales and distribution of investment products represented by the group in the Latam Wholesale market. Prior to joining, Florencia was a Senior Vice President and Head of Latam Sales at Pioneer Investments since 2001. She was responsible for sales, marketing and distributor relationships within South America including Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. Before joining Pioneer Investments in 2001, she served as Vice President of Sales for Credit Suisse in New York in the Latin America division. Florencia graduated as Doctor in Economics in UBA, Argentina.

Fatima is the Chief Operating Officer for Unicorn Strategic Capital and Unicorn Strategic Partners. Fatima works hand in hand with Nfq, a key partner and investor in Unicorn.
She has been involved in both companies since inception and leads all administrative and operational processes for the firm, including financial planning, budgeting, compliance, human resources and billing.
Fátima is Economist from the Central University of Venezuela and a Specialist in Finance and Business Management.

Prior to joining Unicorn, Ezequiel was a Senior Private Banker in LarrainVial, a leading Chilean financial services firm, advising HNW and UHNW clients on portfolio construction across multiple asset classes. Mike is a Partner and Head of US Offshore Distribution for Unicorn Strategic Partners. Mike also assist Unicorn Strategic Capital with the distribution of alternative investment funds for existing clients.
Prior to joining Unicorn, Mike was a Senior Vice President and Regional Director for the Permal Group. He was responsible for sales, marketing and distributor relationships within Canada, the U.S., Central and South America. Before joining the Permal Group in 2000, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for BNP Paribas - Latin America division. Mike also held various sales and product development positions at Merrill Lynch, both in U.S. Retail and International Marketing.

Nicole is a Vice President at Unicorn Strategic Partners, where she executes the sales and distribution of investment products to intermediaries in US Offshore. Nicole also assist Unicorn Strategic Capital with the distribution of alternative investment funds for existing clients.
Nicole has been in the industry for over 16 years. Before joining Unicorn Strategic Partners, she worked at Robeco as Office Manager and Sales Support. Nicole also worked at Serfinco, BBVA and Grupo Aval in Colombia where she held different positions as wealth account manager and director of investor relations. Prior to this, she worked for Merrill Lynch in Miami from 2005 to 2011 where she assisted a private banking wealth management group.

Cindy is a director at Unicorn Strategic Capital based in Colombia, where she oversees the sales and distribution of alternative investment products to institutional investors and intermediaries in Colombia, Peru and Central America.
Prior to her current role, she joined Compass Group as a sales member of the private wealth management team, driving business growth focusing on high-net-worth clients, family offices and multi-family offices. Before that, Cindy was part of the sales team at BlackRock, enhancing relationships with Colombian and Central American wealth and institutional clients, including private banks, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, family offices and multi-family offices. She started her career path at Porvenir Pension Fund as an intern on the trading desk.

Rodrigo is a Managing Director at Unicorn Strategic Capital in Chile, where he executes the sales and distribution of alternative investment products to institutional investors and intermediaries in the country.
Prior to joining the team, Rodrigo spent 10 years working for two prominent private pension plans in Chile, AFP Cuprum and AFP Habitat, where he was head of alternative investment and head of fund selection, respectively. He also worked as an investment analyst at Celfin Capital (now BTG Pactual) and a consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C.
He holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Master of Business Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez with an exchange at the Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. Lucas has 6 years of experience in the financial industry, having held different roles. Prior to joining Unicorn, Lucas was an Investment Management Consultant at BlackRock in Miami covering the independent channel. Lucas previously worked as a Sales and Trading Associate at StoneX and as a Client Service Associate at XP Securities. Lucas is originally from Brazil and is a graduate of the University of Miami.

Gonzalez
Sergio Gonzalez serves as the head of operations for Unicorn Strategic Capital and Unicorn Strategic Partners. He has been actively engaged with both projects since their beginnings as part of Nfq Advisory Solutions, a key partner and investor in Unicorn. In his role, he coordinates all technical and administrative departments of all areas of the parent company.
Sergio studied computer science at the European University of Madrid, obtaining a double degree with a specialty in artificial intelligence at the University of Staffordshire in the United Kingdom, where he lived for two years. Shortly after, he moved with a scholarship to the Commercial Office of Spain in Tel-Aviv, Israel, where he stayed another two years and began his studies in economics. After returning to Spain, Sergio started in the technical department of Nfq, after which he moved to lead the firm’s operations and administration.

Gonzalo has more than 13 years of experience in the financial industry having held various sales and trading roles. Prior to joining Unicorn, Gonzalo was a Sales Representative for Central America, Uruguay and Argentina at Compass Group. His clients include private banks, multi-family offices and independent financial advisers. He previously worked as a Senior Trading Specialist at Julius Baer and Merrill Lynch. Gonzalo is a Certified Public Accountant; he is a graduate of Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

Prior to that, she was head of institutional investments at GBM, a brokerage firm in Mexico.
