Jorge Rovira
Based in Colombia, Jorge Rovira is a co-founder and managing partner at Unicorn Strategic Capital, He leads the distribution strategy for the firm, with a focus on sales execution and partnership development across the institutional and private wealth channels.
Before co-founding Unicorn Strategic Capital, Jorge was a partner and Colombia country head at Compass Group, the oldest placement agent in Latin America. In this role, he closed over $4.5 billion for leading private equity and real estate funds, including spearheading the regional presence for a number of the top name in the private equity industry. Having started his career at a leading pension fund in Chile, followed by roles at LarrainVial and Blackrock, Jorge brings a unique multinational relationship network and deep knowledge of how these institutions work. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School. He lives in Bogota with his fiancée.
